Coming from a hispanic father, Mason grew up with some hispanic culture. Gabriel Miller, Mason's father, was born and raised in Puerto Rico and he is fluent in Spanish and has a good grasp of the English language. Language was always a problem for Mason and Gabriel as there is a huge barrier between them since Mason is not fluent in the Spanish language. Mason's grandparents are also fluent in Spanish as well with a little grasp of English but Mason's mother is fluent in both having took Spanish in college. His mother, Melissa Miller, will translate some but Mia and Mason will have ceremony programs written in Spanish as well since the wedding will be completely in English.
Location
Moving from Wisconsin to Florida, the Miller's left a lot of family in northern states and Ontario, Canada. As a big part of Mason's family lives in Ontario such as his grandparents, cousins, and uncles, and his distant relatives live in Michigan, it is hard to ensure that they will have the opportunity to travel to Florida. As the costs for traveling expenses are becoming unaffordable and there is international travel involved, Mia and Mason will continue to be hopeful that they can attend. Most of Mia's family lives in Florida and the southern states which makes it a lot easier for them to travel to attend the wedding. For relatives and friends who cannot attend the wedding for distance reasons, they will broadcast the wedding on Facebook Live video streaming because they do not want anyone missing out on their big day, especially Mason's grandmother who is overjoyed.
